I heart BluePumpkinJuice!

Have you seen the adorable work of Jessica from BluePumpkinJuice? I was lucky enough to be browsing through the art listings on Etsy, on the very day that Jessica started listing on BluePumpkinJuice.. I think I was one of the very first people that hearted her, and I'm a huge admirer of her work as she continues to add to her shop.

I heart Polar Bears!

Besides birds, rabbits, and balloons.. I also have a little thing for polar bears. Especially baby ones, they are so cute and look very cuddly. There are so many cute bear artworks on etsy - many already from my favourites, but I was excited to discover a couple more as well. I am sharing my favourites with you before I show you one of my very first polar bear paintings.

I heart TummyMountain, especially this rabbit!

You know that feeling when you see something and fall in love with it instantly? Well that happened to me today when I stumbled across this big rabbit from TummyMountain. I have a thing for rabbits at the moment, I've painted some today, and just finished a print I will be posting soon. Last week, I even travelled about an hour to my husbands workmate's house, spent the afternoon watching them play tennis.. just so I could have a cuddle with some pet rabbits he has at his house. They were so cute. Click on the pics to visit TummyMountain.. you will love it there!

I heart Sharon Montrose

Wow! Sharon Montrose has just listed some new photos in her etsy shop. They are so cute, I especially like theses bunnies. I think I am developing a thing for bunnies, they're becoming more common in my sketches - so far I haven't painted any, but I don't think they're too far away!

Stephanie Fizer

I have been in love with the illustrations of Stephanie Fizer for quite a while, thought it was time to share.. Stephanie currently has free shipping on everything in her shop until Feb 20th. Click on the pic to visit her shop. She also has a blog! Make sure you check it out. http://stephaniefizer.com/

I am so absorbed in all of the wonderful things in blogland lately, and the best thing is all the lovely people behind the arty blogs. I am making some wonderful friends in the online community who are so encouraging to me - I hope that one day I can be just as encouraging and helpful to somebody else!

I "heart" Vol25!

Thought it was about time I shared one of my 'hearts'! There are so many Illustrators out there that inspire me.. Anyway - it seems as though I am the last person to discover this particular little corner of the etsy world. Vol25 is a shop filled with delighful drawings, and I discovered that the voice behind the shop - Jessica, and I have a few things in common.

• We are around the same age.. I am still a bit younger (for some reason I don't like people in the online etsy/blog community to know my age.. more about that another time!)
• We both like to please customers, Jessica stating that "a heartfelt customer testimonial is just about the greatest payment you can receive". I agree. And.. I also enjoy customizing work for people.
• I am also self taught, and inspired by things around me - every day.
• I also enjoy cooking.
• And most of all, I agree that sleeping in should be made a sport.. I would be an Olympian! :)

So make sure you check out vol25, just click on the pic below.. it will take you right there!
